Photography/camera for cheep but good!?

I have been in to photography for about a year ( maybe a little over) and I really want to get out of the " beginners" category but I need a new camera and better editing. I am only 16 so I need something that's kinda cheep but I don't want it to be so cheep that it's not good. any good advice?
