Why does my Girlfriend Compare everything to the tv show Sex & the City?

It sounds like she is obsessed with Sex and the City and she idolizes that show and the character Carrie and she wants her life to be as exciting as theirs and she sees similarities and so compares everything to that show. The bad news is this might last awhile as Sex and the City has good ratings. The good news is this is probably just a phase she is going through and in a couple of years if you can stand it, she will probably not do it so much. Try to ignore it for now and laugh it off.
