Can i use a cheep usb mic to chat on black ops?

it all depends upon what system you have. If you have a ps3 the answer is yes, if you have an xbox 360 the answer is no. The xbox 360 only supports mics connected throught the controller but might support usb headsets in the brandnew dashboard/updates shown during microsofts press conference at E3
