How can i make my nails stronger for cheep?

Well I'm only in 10th grade n all my life I biten my nails I recently stop biting my nails when I was in 8th grade and now as they go out longer the white area becomes a very pale brownish color and the break very easily can anyone help me find a very cheep way to make them stronger cause I have very little money
