How to get rid of annoying bird?

It sits somewhere on my roof at 4:30 every morning and cheeps for over half an hour. There are no trees or power lines near my window, so it's not coming from there. I can't see the bird from my window so I don't know exactly where it is so placing an stuffed animal owl isnt an option. I sleep with my window closed but I can still hear him loud and clear. And I have yet to find earplugs that don't fall out while I sleep, as I move around alot. This has been going on fr over a week and Im at the point where I'm about 2 seconds from buying a bb gun and shooting the ****ing thing. Please help!
