I am moving to Carlisle, PA. What is there to do around this town?

So, I am moving to Carlisle and I have no idea what kind of entertainment exists, if any, in this town. I'm 24, and single. Also, where are good places to live around here? I'd like to live near some things to do, within walking distance, if possible. Any suggestions?
